The 7th Ho Chi Minh City Wood Products and Handicrafts International Trade Fair (HCMC Expo 2009) will take place at Ho Chi Minh City International Trade Fair & Exhibition Center from October 6th-10th 2009.

The organizers say that businesses have registered almost 800 booths, even though 800 booths wouldn't fit in the exhibition center.
This is part of the National Trade Promotion Program and is one of a number of international annual wood product trade fairs. HCMC Expo 2009 will include many services which will interest participants. An online fair within the framework of HCMC Expo 2009 will also be launched making it possible for other businesses to join the event via the Internet. A workshop will also be held to present the exhibits at the fair. The Trade Promotion Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible to advertise Expo 2009 abroad./.
