The garden furniture sector
remains a major source of demand for tropical hardwood products in the
EU. Data on the size of the sector in the various European countries is
not readily available, but anecdotal reports indicate that Germany,
France, Italy and the UK and the four largest consumers of garden
furniture products roughly in order of importance.
