On March 18th, 2009, Vietnam Timber & Forest Products (VIFORES) in close co-ordination with Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Department of Agro-Forestry-Aquatic Products Processing, Trading and Salt Industries (Processing Department), the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development (MARD) organizes a Workshop namely: “Evaluation of the current situation, opportunities and challenges of the sector, proposal for solutions and policies improvement to promote the sustainable development of Vietnam wood processing industry”.
